Summary: The Owens Foundation provided a grant to Vital Ground toward purchasing this acreage within the Boundary Creek Wilderness Management Area (WMA). The WMA is managed by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game to develop wildlife and fish habitat and to provide public access for hunting, fishing and other recreational pursuits. Development activities focus on restoring historic wetlands, promoting native vegetative communities and promoting compatible public recreation.
