Summary: Vital Ground contributed funds to The Nature Conservancy of Montana to help secure a conservation easement on the 164-acre Rising Wolf Ranch on Montana's Rocky Mountain Front. The property contains native grasslands, aspen, coniferous forests, and cottonwood woodlands along the South Fork of the Two Medicine River. The ranch is especially important for grizzlies as a habitat link between Glacier National Park and the Bob Marshall Wilderness complex. The conservation easement is held by The Nature Conservancy.
