Silvertip Legacy Circle
In September 2007 Vital Ground officially launched the Silvertip Legacy Circle to recognize those donors who make a lasting commitment to protecting habitat for grizzly by pledging support through wills, trusts, or other planned gifts. Members of the Silvertip Legacy Circle help to ensure the survival of North America's grizzly populations and biodiversity for generations to come through a planned gift to Vital Ground.
A planned gift generates special tax and/or income benefits for the donor during his or her lifetime, and also provides future benefits to a charitable organization like Vital Ground. There are many ways to make a planned gift, including wills, living trusts, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, life estates and life insurance.
As a way to thank our Silvertip Legacy Circle donors and keep them informed about our strategies, achievements and challenges in protecting habitat for grizzly bears and other wildlife, we offer the following:
- Personalized recognition certificate suitable for framing;
- A listing in Vital Ground's annual reports and other special publications;
- Invitations to special Vital Ground events and trips; and
- A lifetime subscription to Vital News.

Note: We have sample language available here (191 KB PDF) to help you include Vital Ground in your will or estate plan. If you have already included Vital Ground in your will or living trust, please send our Development Department a letter advising us of that fact. You will then receive the benefits of a Silvertip Legacy Circle member.
