Summary: Vital Ground provided a grant to The Nature Conservancy of Montana to protect the 4,354-acre Swanson Ranch, which covers a significant block of native grassland through which flows 3.5 miles of Dupuyer Creek, a meandering creek and associated wetlands. The Cumulative Effects Model ranks this broad riparian stringer among the highest quality grizzly habitat along the Rocky Mountain Front.
