Tank the Bear

Born in captivity in January of 1995, Tank is an interior American grizzly bear. He came to the Seus family at six weeks of age and weighed eight pounds. His eyes had just opened and you could hold him like a tiny newborn human baby. He was bottle raised in the Seuses basement until he was three months old.

Tank's first job was at six months for a commercial for German television. Since then he has appeared in numerous commercials and feature films. He was the star of the feature film Like a Mother Bear and was seen in Stray Dog, a television movie for Nickelodeon. Tank was also featured in the IMAX production of Lewis and Clark and had the part of "Archie" with Eddie Murphy in Dr. Dolittle 2.
