Tanner grew up in Sandpoint, Idaho spending most of his childhood exploring the surrounding Selkirk and Cabinet Mountain ranges. Whether it was hiking and camping with his family or exploring the mountains with his friends, he gained a true love and appreciation for the natural world. Those experiences influenced and motivated him to later graduate from the Evergreen State College with a degree in Land Use Planning. Tanner brings experience in land management. His passion for the outdoors inspires the work he involves himself in.
In his off time, you can find him in the mountains exploring on his skis or bike(s). He enjoys cooking, playing music, traveling and growing food.
